Our Story

My British Bulldog Pepper's first birthday was fast approaching in early 2022, and I wanted to celebrate the occasion with a cake.

Ever since I was young, I have been passionate about cooking and baking for family/friends. Knowing I could cook a decent human birthday cake, I thought it would be easy enough to bake one for Pepper.

After extensive research, I learned it wasn't the same as a human cake, as Pepper's cake needed to be safe and specific for pooch's.

Of course, Pepper enjoyed her first birthday pooch cake too much (especially the icing) and gave me the idea.

I am Shaun O'Neill, the proud owner of Hungry Paws Limited after being launched in May 2022, located on the Hibiscus Coast, Auckland.

Remember, it doesn't necessarily need to be their birthday; it could be for a special occasion or celebrating the top of their class at daycare. 

I am incredibly excited and privileged to be part of your pooch's special day.
